Made by Bob opened in March 2009 and since the very first day we have been cooking for over 100 people in the week and more than 250 on a Saturday. Not bad for a place that doesn’t take bookings!HDR Demo_1

 We open at 7.30am during the week, as we’re here making the bread and pastries, so we may as well open the doors and welcome you for coffee, croissants or something more substantial. Our aim is to provide a relaxed meeting place where people can enjoy fantastic food and drink throughout the day, from breakfast and mid-morning coffee through to lunch and afternoon tea.  If you are looking for an evening meal on a Friday, we are now open for supper from 7pm. 

The menu at Made By Bob changes daily and we use as much seasonal, local produce as we can but we have to go where the quality is and we do have a love for the beautiful Italian produce available. For example we have an amazing guy called Stefano Chessa of Villa Nova, a London-based supplier who brings us the very best Sardinian goods.

We make everything on site in the huge open kitchen that dominates the room.  Surrounding the kitchen are a number of high stools and a glossy counter enabling customers to watch our chefs at work whilst enjoying a coffee or lunch.

It has been said by many, that when they come here, they forget they are in Cirencester. It feels just like London – it has that buzz. But it’s not just the atmosphere, our menu is also unlike anything else being served locally: bresaola with pecorino, watercress, almonds and sherry vinegar; roast rump of lamb with crushed potatoes, roast tomato, field mushrooms and salsa verde; braised cuttlefish and chorizo with chick peas, pimento and saffron; white peach bavarois with caramelised almonds.
